Luna Tomy
I was born in Colombia, South America, and raised in New York City. I have called Las Vegas home for almost 15 years.
I took my first steps on the path to becoming a doula when I was 19 years old. At the time, the profession was uncommon, but I felt called to this blossoming field and began training under Michelle L’Esperance of Warm Welcome Birth Services.
From then on, I assisted at various births and learned a great deal from supporting women before becoming a mother myself.
After giving birth to my own children, I realized just how much compassionate and knowledgeable birth support was needed. I knew that my varied experiences would help me support others on their own birthing journeys. With that in mind, I started Bella Luna Birth Services.
I am fluent in Spanish and English and have experience working with couples from all around the world.
Outside of my work, I enjoy literature, listening to music, and exploring the beautiful nature surrounding Las Vegas.
Training & Continuing Education
Birthing From Within
Extensive training in childbirth education, including Birth Story Medicine and the use of art in birth preparation. This training deepened my understanding of the emotional and personal aspects of birth.
Trauma Awareness
Completed trauma awareness training as part of Nevada’s doula certification requirements.
CPR certified
Additional Training
Previously certified as a placenta encapsulation specialist.
